These are species you are allowed to make characters with.
Human - Mortal creatures, with lifespans no longer than 90 years. Most of the general population lives to about 60, with nobility living longer. They can be adventurous, though many prefer to have stability and enjoy home life. They may have an array of different occupations depending upon where they live, and usually live in castle towns or small villages.
---Possible occupations: Lower Class: blacksmith, ferrier, herdsman, thatcher, brewer, potter, stablemen, dressmaker/tailor, baker, candlestick maker, butcher. Middle class: servants of the castle, especially those serving the nobility personally.
Faerie (fairy) - Magic folk who are almost always female. Pure Fairies are immortal. They stay to the dark the forest, but sometimes young fairies and half-fairies venture out to the castle towns. Their identities MUST be kept secret. It has been known that a fairy befriends a young princess and later in life, that fairy offers to be the princess's child's fairy godmother. Because of some blunders of the past, royal parents will seldom ask or invite any fairies for birth blessings. Physical attributes: the tips of their ears are pointed and point out just a bit. Also usually have unexplained sparkles on their skin, especially down the backs of their necks starting from the earlobes, at the outer corners of the eyes, and down the outsides of their thighs.
Witch/Warlock/Wizard - Magic folk, but exactly human in appearance. Some have the reputation of being eccentric, but beware! Wizards and witches are nothing to be trifled with! They live longer than humans, and this can be a couple hundred to a thousand years. Unfortunately, many young sorcerers are killed in duels, potion explosions, and by sheer terrible luck with dragons.
Elf - Tall, lithe, and long pointy ears. Their grace and allure will make them stand out among men no matter where they go. They reside in the dark forest, though no human king knows where. Elves show themselves when they please and most are fickle when it comes to trusting men.
Dwarf - Miners in the mountains of the north. They have little interest in men other than to trade. They are short, as their name might suggest, and very few people even think they still exist.
